Not a serious piece of hardware, but it pretty much pushes every anti-gunner button.

The Romanian Draco AK pistol in 7.62x39 can be imported into CA as a single shot pistol with a zero capacity magazine (exempt from CA Handgun Roster) and must have a bullet button (making it a fixed mag handgun) to exempt it from the CA handgun AW laws. The bullet button legally limits a person to using 10 round magazines. Mine came from Henderson Defense in NV.

There are a fair amount of mods:
Replaced the grip with a Hogue grip - absolutely necessary because the original grip is very bad.
Added a sling loop in the same place that underfolder AKs mount the sling
Replaced the wood with Romanian AK wood.
Replaced the barrel nut with a slant brake
Added a cut down RPK bipod

Have not made a holster for it... yet

this is what the other states need to see. Going to gunbroker and out of state gun shows just pisses me off. So many ppl don't want to ship to CA FFL's. I was in Reno with a FFL copy looking for SKS a couple of years ago. Nobody wanted to sell. "Oh, you guys in Cali can't own these." To which I responded that "you guys are WORSE than the anti-gunners because you won't make a legal sale."

I don't know whether they're just being extremely cautious, or they're just trying to piss us off so we yell at the legislature.

Unfortunately, yelling at the legislature won't do any good unless we throw 3/4 of the legislature out.

Help is coming to CA in the form of the Supreme Court. The Heller decision (keep and bear is an individual right) followed by the soon to be decided MacDonald case (will incorporate the 2nd Amendment against the states and gives us standing to sue the state for unconstitutional gun laws) will unleash a flood of lawsuits against CA gun laws.

PS Calguns is where I learned enough about CA gun laws to be able to bring some of these interesting guns into CA.

Was that you? I thought I found it on my own, but who knows...?
